Last Post for a Bit
I know I’m taking some heat for not shutting my big mouth and blindly supporting the Occupy Toronto movement like a good little socialist, but you know what? Tweets like this are not okay:

Dreadful grammar aside, if you live in arguably the most peaceful nation in the world, you do not get to compare yourself to the suffering people in war-torn African countries. You just don’t.
How about you occupy some self-awareness for a while?

The best thing about Elsa the Cat is that no matter how long it’s been since I last saw her, she always comes running.
And then proceeds to purr like a motorcycle.

Yet Another Open Letter to Toronto Life Magazine
Dear Toronto Life,
It’s me again! How have you been? (Besides laughably out of touch, of course.) I read Phillip Preville’s “The Case For Killing Raccoons” today, and boy, it sure was interesting.
For those who haven’t read it yet, “The Case for Killing Raccoons” is the story of two creatures and their struggles to survive in a bleak urban landscape. The first is an empathetic, highly intelligent animal who plays a vital role in maintaining Toronto’s urban ecosystem. The other is Phillip Preville.
Anyhoo, your article sure taught me lots of interesting things. First of all, I learned that is perfectly acceptable to kill things just because I don’t like them. I plan to use this nifty mass cull strategy to get rid of such everyday annoyances as slow walkers and charity muggers. Thanks for the tip! Second, I learned that it’s probably a good idea to kill anything that has the potential of getting a disease ever. I spend a great deal of time biting raccoons and handling their fecal matter, so I totally appreciate your concerns about distemper.
Thanks for the wonderful article, guys. You stay classy!
XOXO,

So…
I had just reached City Hall when my Blackberry shat its pants. Hence the lack tweets. Hence also the lack of notes, pictures and recordings.
I am a terrible activist.
